Editorial Policy
How My Tools HQ approaches utility explanations, guides, corrections and commercial independence.
Original, task-focused guidance
Our tool explanations and guides are written for the specific workflow being discussed. We avoid padding pages with repeated generic text and aim to state practical limitations that can change the user’s decision.
Accuracy over marketing language
We do not intentionally label deterministic features as AI, encoding as encryption, visible signature marks as certificate-backed digital signatures, or estimated financial calculations as lender quotes.
Sources and standards
When a topic depends on a formal standard or external authority, readers should verify the requirement with the receiving organization. Guides explain concepts but do not replace legal, financial, regulatory or professional advice.
Advertising
The site may be supported by advertising. Advertising does not change the intended outcome of a tool or the editorial explanation of its limitations. Ads are not presented as tool controls or required steps.
Corrections
Factual or functional issues can be reported through the Contact page. Material errors should be corrected rather than silently defended.
